Medicare.gov is your official Federal resource for all things Medicare. You can learn more about your plan options with Medicare, as well as sign up for Medicare and create a personal account once you have a Medicare number.

If you are in your Initial Enrollment Period for Medicare (which starts 3 months prior to your birth month and ends 3 months after), you can sign up for Medicare through Social Security here. You will be prompted to sign into your My Social Security account, (or create one if you don’t have one) to complete the application.
